Greenman Investments, a growing financial services company are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to design, develop and lead their HR function.

We are looking for an innovative, progressive and commercially focused HR professional to support our growth.

As the first HR hire for the Company, you will play a critical role in shaping the delivery of the people plans to the organisation. This is a senior role requiring ongoing exposure to all aspects of HR including onboarding, recruitment, performance management, training, engagement and employee relations. This is a senior specialist role in the Company and therefore an entrepreneurial mindset with a capacity to work on your own initiative will be valued.

Reporting to the CEO and Main Board, the ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional, who has demonstrated competence in all areas of HR, in addition to strong leadership capabilities and the ability to represent the HR function at leadership meetings, helping the team to translate commercial plans into a people strategy.

  • Advise leadership on all people matters to help meet business objectives and priorities
  • Coach and develop managers on hiring initiatives, talent assessments, team dynamics, performance management, assessing employee development needs etc. Make recommendations and implement appropriate solutions
  • Develop relationships with managers and employees across the business to facilitate and promote an environment that attracts and retains diverse talent
  • Partner closely with managers on compensation increases and promotions. Provide recommendations based on organization need, business objectives and compensation philosophy
  • Proven ability to use data to inform and guide decisions and policies
  • Work collaboratively to support managers recruiting with a view to refining processes, policies and programmes to meet the needs of the market
  • Demonstrate an understanding of business needs and trends to help drive the business forward.
  • Manage employee relations concerns and processes
  • Minimum 5 years’ HR Business Partnering/Senior HR Management partnering with the business and HR functional experience in a high growth environment
  • Third level education in HR/Psychology or Management
  • Proven experience sitting on the senior management team
  • Candidate will be required to demonstrate competence in all aspects of HR
  • Proven ability in designing and implementing HR policies, procedures and programs in line with HR best practice using innovation and an alternative approach
  • Proven commitment to continuous professional development
  • A collaborative and result-oriented individual with a detailed oriented, partner-oriented and solutions driven mindset
  • Has a people centric and self motivating work style
  • Comfortable working independently with a reporting structure to the CEO and Main Board
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally at all levels
