Greenman Insider – The Frankfurt Office
Greenman has more than 60 dedicated employees from over 6 nations working in 3 different offices across Ireland and Germany. Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour at Greenman’s Frankfurt office.
The Main river metropolis Frankfurt lies at the heart of the Rhine-Main region and is known as Germany’s financial center. The city has more than 40 gleaming skyscrapers and is home to some of the world’s biggest banking institutions, the fourth-largest stock exchange in the world (the Börse) and 400 banks, including the European Central Bank.
It is not surprising that Greenman’s Debt department is part of the Frankfurt office in order to always be close to the most important lenders and to build long-term, sustainable relationships with our banking partners. Neil Hennessy, as Head of Debt Capital Markets, is responsible for raising and managing the debt capital needed to acquire the assets in the portfolio. In 2020, Neil has raised c. €147m for the fund.
In order to be close to our assets, which are spread across Germany, parts of our portfolio team also work from the Frankfurt office to manage the assets commercially on a daily basis, keeping them technically up to date.
The portfolio team generates data and supports other departments within Greenman with relevant information to ensure effective and efficient management and development of the German portfolio and to further improve our position as a preferred landlord.
